Biography
Mr. Jimenez graduated with honors from Harvard College in 2004, majoring in history and literature. He then graduated from Interamerican University School of Law in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2007 before completing his LL.M. in Trial Advocacy in 2013 at California Western School of Law.
Following law school, Mr. Jimenez clerked for the Hon. Jose Alberto Morales, Appellate Judge, Court of Appeals of Puerto Rico. He began working with Tim Scott in 2013, and since then has focused his efforts on defending federal criminal cases, prosecuting appeals to the Ninth Circuit, and litigating federal civil rights cases and personal injury actions before California courts. Mr. Jimenez is also an adjunct professor at California Western School of Law, teaching courses on the Federal Rules of Evidence, Federal Civil Procedure, and Federal Civil Motions Practice, within the law school’s LL.M. program for Latin American attorneys and judges.
Mr. Jimenez is admitted to the state bar in Puerto Rico and California, and admitted to practice in federal courts in both jurisdictions, including the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
